The Every Voice Choir Summer Concert at Chelmsford Cathedral
Event Details
Experience our Summer Concert—the perfect event for all ages to enjoy, from musical theatre to pop and gospel classics. The Every Voice choirs from Wickford and Althorne come together to raise the roof of Chelmsford Cathedral with hits from Whitney Houston to Coldplay, and shows from Les Miserables to The Greatest Showman.

Join us on Saturday 1st August, for an afternoon filled with breathtaking performances and heartwarming harmonies. Doors open at 1.00pm. Show from 1.30pm-3.30pm.

Common Questions
What should I bring to a concert?
Many of our events are either free, donation, or ‘pay on the door’. For ticketed events, It’s just bring your ticket (printed or on your phone), water, and, if we’re performing outdoors, a light jacket in case it gets chilly. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes!
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! Our concerts are designed for all ages, and we love welcoming families. Just keep an eye on your little ones to ensure everyone has a great time!
If you’re coming to one of our ticketed events, children do need their own ticket if occupying a seat. If your little one fits on your lap then they come along free!
How can I support the choir?
You can support us by attending concerts, spreading the word, and making a donation if you’re able. Every bit helps us grow and continue sharing music with our community! Many of our events are charity fundraisers, where every penny helps!
